WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORAL HCG AND HCG INJECTIONS?
HCG drops are produced by synthesizing the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) formula and suspending it into a sublingual mixture. That mixture–the HCG drops–is then administered under the tongue and absorbed into the body. Our HCG drops do not require a prescription, are completely in compliance with FDA regulations, and are absolutely safe to use. HCG injections must be prescribed by a doctor and are administered by a shot into muscle tissue (usually given by the patient himself or herself). The oral formula has been found to be as effective as the shots.
HOW DOES HCG HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT?
In pregnant women, HCG releases stored fat to ensure the growing fetus receives the nutrients it needs to grow and develop normally. When HCG is taken in non-pregnant women and men, the body still releases the stored fat. Because there is no fetus present, however, the body uses the stores for energy or eliminates the rest. WHAT IF I AM TAKING BIRTH CONTROL?

CAN I EAT WHATEVER I WANT IF I STAY UNDER 500 CALORIES?
If you eat whatever you want and tell yourself it is okay as long as you stay under the 500-calorie restriction each day, you will not have success on the program. The food list is specific for a reason and straying from that even while still staying within the caloric limitations could spell failure because of the high amount of fats, oils, and carbohydrates, and sodium that can cause a stall on the diet. No cheating or cheat day.
WILL I KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF?
After the HCG diet you will find your appetite have changed, your eating behavior will have changed and your body will, of course, have changed! This is the perfect opportunity to adopt a healthy lifestyle to maintain your weight. Following the diet, there is a three week maintenance period which is key to keeping the weight off. With your hypothalamus reset, your metabolism will be different and you will be able to eat moderately without feeling the need to overeat.
WHY CAN I ONLY EAT 500 CALORIES?
HCG causes your hypothalamus to mobilize the stored fat in your body. During the phase where you are consuming only 500 calories, your hypothalamus continually releases stored fat which your body burns for fuel. You are actually running on 3500-4000 calories a day, which is the equivalent of burning 1-2 pounds!
Hunger is common during the first few days. With any calorie restriction diet, hunger is natural. In most cases the smaller servings can be completely satisfying. This is partly due to your hypothalamus adjusting your metabolic rate, but largely due to the amount of calories circulating in your system from the fat being released.
EXERCISE AND THE 750 CALORIE HCG PROTOCOL?
There is a misconception out there about exercising on the HCG Diet, and today our goal is to fix that. On the 500 calorie protocol it is recommended to limit exercise to walking for no more than 30 minutes per day. For some, this can be disappointing because they want to continue an active lifestyle or they want to start toning their bodies as they lose weight. The good news is that by adjusting your caloric intake, you can actually exercise a bit more while still reaping the benefits of the HCG Diet. We have designed a higher calorie protocol that fits this rule. This higher calorie protocol was designed to go along with an active lifestyle and should only be implemented if you are burning more than 200 calories per day with your workout.
Here are three guidelines to understand before you implement the 750 calorie protocol:
1. First, it is extremely important that you only eat approved foods stated in the plan, and drink the indicated amount of water throughout the day and take the oral doses 15 minutes before or after each of your three meals.
2. Second, make sure to calculate the amount of calories needed to replenish your body after each planned workout.
3 Lastly, you need to add a reasonable portion of food to your diet after exercise. For example, if you do 40 min-1 hour of walking, jogging, or yoga and burn 300 calories then you need to add an extra protein, fruit, and vegetable serving to your daily intake of calories. Note: For people on the HCG diet it is not recommended to burn more than 400 calories in a single workout, even with an increased caloric intake.
